Sadhguru asks people to adopt love and kindness in their lives.
The spiritual guru says that living like a fool is in no way the right way of living a good life.
In today’s world, being kind is deemed as useless often, as individuals have supposedly formed a notion that by lying, betraying and deceiving others, a truly comfortable life can be attained. Puzzled by this notion, someone earlier posed this query to spiritual guru Sadhguru – owner and founder of Isha Foundation – during one of his sessions. “Sadhguru, all the deceivers, liars and wrongdoers in the world are good. But those who are honest suffer greatly. Why is this injustice happening in nature?” asked one of the followers of Sadhguru. He responded to this question by giving an example of a man who used to live in a forest, but has now come to the city to stay. “Yesterday you were in the forest and lived very well. Today you have come to live in the big city. What would it be like to live in the city today as we lived in the jungle yesterday? Will it affect us or not? Will definitely do,” said Sadhguru. He asked his followers to be aware of their surroundings to prevent harm in their lives. He says that it is important to be kind and honest, but living like a fool is in no way a right measure of living.
Sadhguru also questions the notion of liars and dishonest people living comfortably. “You thought someone was living well by deceiving others, but how can you tell that they are happy? He may even suffer from insomnia,” added Sadhguru. He believes that living comfortably is not a strict requirement for a happy life.
He also condemns people when they help cheaters or dishonest people even after knowing the whole situation. “Be it home, town or country, we should not give power to a cheater. Otherwise, they will be doing the wrong thing,” Sadhguru added. He also pointed out the increased culture of lies and dishonesty as he believes that dishonest people are constantly being supported by many. Sadhguru also advises his followers to be kind and spread love in society. Being kind is the best form of love, he added. Sadhguru asks people to adopt love and kindness in their lifestyle.
