Sol Body Star Light Shimmering Body Powder ($12.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a light gold with moderate, warm peach undertones and a sparkling, lightly metallic finish. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation–depending on how one applied it, as fingertips were the recommended method and grabbed the most pigment from the get-go–that applied evenly to bare skin or over foundation.
There were small-particle sparkles throughout, but they caught the light well and didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. The consistency was denser, almost like a cream-powder (but more powder than cream), but remained blendable on my skin. It lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.
