Actress Sobhita Dhulipala’s choice of outfit for the special screening of MAMI Select was one rooted in elegance and timeless fashion – the saree. For the event, the actress stepped out in a pastel green saree from the shelves of clothing brand Ikkat Door. The exquisite green linen saree featured intricate chintz jaal work adorned with vibrant, oversized flowers.
The overriding green hue of the saree was offset by charming red tassels at the pallu, adding a pop of colour. She kept it simple by pairing the saree with a matching blouse with a chic, plunging V-neckline, half sleeves, and delicate prints.
In terms of accessories, the diva opted for minimal jewellery. She chose to wear a delicate chain, earrings, and matching bracelets. Her natural makeup look complemented the simple charm of her saree. She chose to keep her hair tied up in an updo, drawing all the attention to her gorgeous face.
Sobhita has often placed her trust in sarees for such special occasions. Recently, for a cover shoot, she wore an ivory pre-stitched saree from the label Papa Don’t Preach. The pre-draped saree features a mermaid-fit skirt adorned with rings at the waist. It was paired with a signature butterfly blouse. The ensemble also includes an asymmetrical drape pallu with scalloped edging and sequin work in a golden shade that runs all through the length of the garment. To complete her look, she opted for golden earrings and a waist chain. Sobhita opted for dewy makeup and tied her hair in a high bun, elevating the overall look.
It is not just traditional looks that Sobhita Dhulipala pulls off with ease. Her Western outfits also make fashion headlines. She recently posted a series of pictures wearing a monochromatic ensemble. It included a body-hugging bodysuit paired with a matching skirt featuring a knot on the side and an above-the-ankle length hem. She complemented the outfit with large golden danglers, bracelets, and tan brown flats. Makeup artist Anigha Jain gave her a dewy makeup look replete with bold eyes, contoured cheeks, blush, and nude lipstick. Hairstylist Arvind added a curly touch to her straight hair, tying the whole look together.
