Whether she is enjoying the national rituals or turning heads with her fashion moments, the royal highness has carried out her tasks with grace and diligence.

Meghan Markle was recently seen on a three-day tour to Nigeria alongside her husband, Prince Harry. The royal couple’s visit was a significant event as they were invited by Africa’s Chief of Defence Force Staff. Throughout their time in Nigeria, Meghan’s fashion choices not only showed her sophisticated taste but also paid homage to the host country’s rich culture. Be it indulging in the traditions and customs of the country or making heads turn with her noteworthy fashion moments, the royal highness has taken all of her duties seriously and elegantly.

Each of her outfit was carefully selected to honor the host country’s traditions while staying true to her timeless fashion sense. Let’s dig a little deeper into Meghan Markle’s standout outfits from her Nigerian tour. At one of the events, Meghan Markle opted for a free-flowing style statement with a peach-coloured maxi dress by California-based designer Heidi Merrick. The chic backless number with a tiered length, known as the Windsor, garnered much attention and admiration.

Adding a vibrant touch to her monochrome ensemble, Meghan paired a white collared button-down shirt from Carolina Herrera with a striking blue traditional Nigerian skirt. The broad-striped wraparound skirt was a thoughtful gift from the people of Abuja, creating a harmonious blend of cultures.

Meghan radiated elegance at the State Governor House in Lagos, donning a Carolina Herrera canary yellow floor-length dress. The bright hue was beautifully complemented by a striped green shawl, adding a touch of sophistication to her ensemble.

Taking center stage as a co-host at Lagos’ Women in Leadership event, Meghan exuded power in a red midi dress from Orire. The dress, featuring thin straps, a breezy silhouette, and a ruffled hem, highlighted her commitment to empowering women and celebrating diversity.

Meghan showcased her fashion-forward approach at a charity volleyball match in Abuja, opting for a printed midi dress by Johann Ortiz. The dress featured keyhole cutouts, narrow straps, back tassels, a risque middle slit and bold tropical prints in black.

For her visit to the Defence headquarters in Abuja, Meghan embraced the corpcore trend with an Altuzarra Acacia white blazer, flared trousers and a matching shirt underneath.

Meghan Markle’s fashion choices during her recent Nigerian tour with Prince Harry were a true reflection of her sophisticated style and appreciation for cultural diversity.

During a reception for military families in Abuja on May 11, the Duchess of Sussex donned a special necklace that once belonged to Princess Diana. It features a delicate diamond cross on a gold chain.
