The platinum blonde hair has been a mainstay of Kardashian’s look since she bleached her hair for the 2022 Met Gala, when she infamously wore Marilyn Monroe’s “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” gown. At the time, Kardashian said the hair change would be sticking around, and she’s kept it going throughout the summer. Her (alleged) ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson even got in on the platinum game, dyeing his hair to match hers earlier this summer.
Kardashian is currently under fire for going way over Los Angeles water usage rules in the month of June. According to the Los Angeles Times, Kardashian’s Hidden Hills home used 232,000 gallons more than the drought limit, and her sister Kourtney got a drought violation notice too, as did fellow celebs Sylvester Stallone, Kevin Hart, and Dwyane Wade. This comes on the heels of the controversy surrounding the Kardashian-Jenner family’s use of private jets to go short distances — not a good look, considering that the climate is changing at a rapid pace.
Maybe Kardashian was busy washing out all that purple shampoo and toner and forgot to turn off the water.
