Flurona symptoms: Trouble breathing and cough among flu and coronavirus signs

0

The first case of a new infection called Flurona has been discovered in Israel. The disease is a mix of coronavirus and influenza. Experts are currently looking into this new merge, trying to determine whether it can cause a more serious illness.

What are the symptoms of Flurona?

Currently, there’s no set list of symptoms linked to the emerging disease confirmed by health authorities.

However, there are a few things we know about what the two viruses have in common.

Covid and influenza fall under the same bracket of disease.

They are viral and target mainly the upper respiratory tract, as their description implies.

The information from Israel suggests the disease to be mild but to cause some difficulty breathing.

DON’T MISS:

The main symptoms of coronavirus, according to the NHS are:

  • High temperature
  • New, continuous cough
  • Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

New continuous cough is such that occurs a lot for more than an hour or three or more times in a day.

If you think you might have coronavirus symptoms, you have to self-isolate and get a PCR test.

They are mainly trying to determine whether Flurona could cause more serious illness.

The most reliable way to keep yourself and everyone around you safe is to use lateral flow tests regularly before mixing with others, as the Government advised.

However, once you’ve started experiencing symptoms of Covid, you have to self-isolate until receiving negative PCR test results or finishing the isolation period.

You can also get both Covid booster and flu jab for further protection.
