Doctors are Analyzing Tom Brady’s ‘Non-Aged’ Face on Instagram

Whether you’re a football fan or not, you’ve seen Tom Brady’s face plastered all over your screens lately. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, husband to supermodel Gisele and father of three won the Superbowl on Sunday, breaking records and thrusting himself into the spotlight once again.

But, not all of the spotlight is focused on football. Dermatologists and plastic surgeons are fascinated with Brady’s seemingly “non-aged” face—another celebrity example of the Benjamin Button effect—and taking to Instagram to tackle the aesthetic rumors head on.

According to past interviews, Brady credits his youthful looks to drinking lots of water, working out and eating healthy—he does follow a super strict diet—but aesthetic experts say there’s got to be more to the story. The 43-year-old has also said he doesn’t wear sunscreen, and with as much time as he spends outside in the elements, doctors would expect to see more sun damage in the forms of lines and laxity.

Below, New York facial plastic surgeon Jennifer Levine, MD says in addition to Brady’s “more sculpted” jawline, and brow line that looks like it hasn’t moved a hair in 20 years, he may have also had platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments to maintain his “glorious hairline.”

Birmingham, AL dermatologist Corey Hartman, MD posted this image of Brady at 24 years old after his first Superbowl win, and this year, at age 43. “I suspect a little help from a dermatologist but it’s fine,” he writes in his caption. We agree, totally fine! But wouldn’t it be amazing if someone like Brady admitted to a little Botox now and then?

And if he really is just the portrait of youth with a water bottle in his hand at all times and a no-nightshade diet, well, then I’ll have what he’s having.
