Diva Lights

Charlotte Tilbury Diva Lights Eyeshadow QuadCharlotte Tilbury Diva Lights Eyeshadow Quad ($53.00 for 0.18 oz.) is a new, limited edition eyeshadow quad that features a wet/dry formula that felt more like a gel-powder type to me. It felt more baked and tended to look a little more metallic and slightly darker when applied damp over dry. I didn’t find that dampened application was vital to getting opacity, though, so it was easy to use with either application method as the formula was blendable and had a tendency to “melt” on skin for a particularly seamless effect.

Diva Lights (Prime)

Diva Lights (Prime) is a medium, peachy gold with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had opaque color payoff applied dry as well as with a dampened brush, while the eyeshadow had a moderately firm, denser feel, but it wasn’t overly thick and still picked up well with a dry brush and blended out without difficulty. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Diva Lights (Enhance)

Diva Lights (Enhance) is a rich, medium-dark copper with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It was richly pigmented applied dry as well as damp, though the latter application method yielded slightly darker, richer color with a stronger sheen. The consistency was soft and smooth to the touch with a moderate density–no powderiness–and did require a slightly heavier hand to pick up product evenly but was very blendable on my skin. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

Diva Lights (Define)

Diva Lights (Define) is a soft, charcoal black with neutral-to-cool undertones and a satin finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation applied dry and more opaque coverage when applied with a dampened brush. The texture was smooth, dense and firmer but not stiff to work with, so the powder remained blendable on my skin. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Diva Lights (Smoke)

Diva Lights (Smoke) is a medium brown with soft, warm undertones and a pearly sheen. The eyeshadow had opaque color payoff that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out nicely. The dampened application yielded slightly deeper color and a stronger sheen. The consistency was moderately dense and on the firmer side, but it was not stiff or difficult to work with. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.
