One of the biggest beauty conglomerates in the world, which owns dozens of brands, has one of the most expansive initiatives to support Ukraine. The company published an in-depth explanation of its efforts. L’Oréal is supporting its 326 Ukrainian employees with financial and psychological assistance and meeting them at the border, when they’re able to cross, with accommodations, medical and legal support as well.
L’Oréal is working with local and international non-governmental organizations, including the Red Cross, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and UNICEF through donations of up to 5 million euros. The company has already distributed 250,000 hygiene products and will continue doing so. L’Oréal has also shut down operations in Russia.
