Zamunda Glow Up

UOMA Beauty Zamunda Glow Up Highlighter Palette ($30.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a new, limited edition highlighting trio that includes three, warm-toned highlighters with more intense, metallic finishes. All three shades were pigmented, easy to work with, and long-wearing, though the middle shade emphasized my skin’s texture as it was quite shimmery/metallic.

  • Becca Smoky Quartz (LE, $38.00) is less shimmery, lighter (95% similar).
  • ColourPop Boss (P, $8.00) is less shimmery (95% similar).
  • Huda Beauty Aruba (PiP, ) is less shimmery, darker, warmer (90% similar).
  • Too Faced You Light Up My Life (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar).
  • Melt Cosmetics Kill (PiP, ) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler (90% similar).
  • Jouer Tan Lines (LE, $24.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar).
  • Anastasia 143 (LE, ) is lighter (90% similar).
  • BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition #20 (LE, ) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar).
  • Fenty Beauty Coppin Ice (LE, $36.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar).
  • Cover FX Candlelight (P, $34.00) is less shimmery, brighter, cooler (90% similar).

Shine Thru

Shine Thru is a deeper peach with warm undertones and flecks of pink and teal reflects that gave it a sparkling, metallic finish on my skin. The texture felt smooth, almost cream-like, as it was incredibly silky without being too firmly-pressed into the pan nor was it thick, so it picked up well with a dry brush.

It had rich color coverage that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease without emphasizing my skin’s natural texture. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

You Glo Girl

You Glo Girl is a deep, coppery bronze with warm undertones and an intense, metallic finish with faint micro-sparkle throughout. It had opaque color payoff in a single layer–a little went a long way–that applied evenly and blended out well. The texture felt almost wet to the touch as it was silky, smooth, and thin (not in a bad way), though it emphasized my skin’s natural texture slightly. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Zamunda Sun

Zamunda Sun is a deeper, more molten gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a bright, metallic finish. The highlighter felt smooth, almost wet, to the touch with a creaminess to it that still handled well with a dry brush and blended out nicely on my skin. It had opaque pigmentation that adhered evenly and wore well for eight and a half hours.
