Paris-born actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu—she’s most known for her role as Sylvie in Emily in Paris, which just hit screens with a second season—has a light-hearted view of aging. “A world where people cannot age is a dangerous world,” she says in a recent interview with Glamour. “I had a talk with my daughter who’s 30 about this recently. She said, ‘Mom, I don’t want to live in a world where women cannot age.’ I think it’s important to really own this aging thing and not make it a problem, not make it something we can’t talk about.” While she understands aging is a natural part of life, she still does what she can to keep her skin and body looking as healthy as it can.

“The more I put on my skin, the more it feels like it’s not breathing, so I keep it super simple. It is also what you put inside your body, which everybody knows,” Beaulieu continues, adding that she’s a personal fan of juices, intermittent fasting and doing what the Greeks do: only eating green and red grapes with seeds. “I got bored of the taste after a while, but generally it’s great. I don’t really lose a lot of weight—but what happens to my skin and my eyes and all my organs and my hair and everything is incredible. I don’t get tired. In fact, I get so much energy after four or five days.” The star also swears by D+ Collagen and Spirulina Food Supplement ($102), which she says promotes healthy hair.

In terms of skin care, her list includes many hard-hitting brands from all over the world. Starting with ZQ-11 Moisturizing Amino Acid Cleanser, which she “loves so much,” Beaulieu then moves onto a natural tonic. “For my tonic, I just use a flower water you can get anywhere. It can be rose water, it can be orange water.” Clinicare EGF Refresh Serum ($42) and the Clinicare X3M EGF Refresh Essence ($48) are next, both touted for their ability to deeply penetrate the skin, leaving it ultra-hydrated.

For an added boost of moisture, she applies the French La Fervance Éclat Extraordinaire ($220). She recommends thoroughly rubbing it into the skin to unleash the cream’s full effects. To top off her lineup, the 58-year-old applies NUXE Rêve de Miel Lip Balm ($17) to keep her pout protected on the go.
