In a recent Amazon Live Session, Kyle Richards says her daughter, Portia Umansky, has been introducing her to new beauty products. With a handful of new must-haves now in rotation, Richards is ready to defend against wintertime dryness. “I love this time of year except for the part where your skin gets dry, but I will share some products to help with that,” she says.
“I get a lot of questions about my skin care and it’s something that’s very very important to me,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star continues. Holding up her at-home facial steamer, NanoSteamer ($50), Richards says that this device is one of her favorite things, especially during the winter. “You can also use it as a humidifier. Sometimes, I just use it to keep my skin hydrated. I will have it right where it hits my face while I sleep. It really makes a big difference in your skin. It also comes with these little skin-care tools.”
Next up on her list of beauty favorites is the newly-reformulated Laneige Water Sleeping Mask ($25), which taps green tea probiotics and hydrating squalane to unleash an all-over glow come morning. “Hydrating your skin during this time of year is the best, best thing you can do. It comes with a little spatula. This heavy moisturizing mask is always amazing. I love to use it this time of year at night.”
Also in the moisturizing category is the cult-classic CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin ($19), which Richards applies after every shower. “It’s a really amazing product. It feels good on your skin, smells good and I am fanatical about this.” For sunscreen, she opts for the protecting and moisturizing Supergoop! Superscreen Hydrating Daily Moisturizer SPF 40 ($34). “I regret the previous years I spent in the sun. I really have to be careful now. This is key. It’s a great moisturizer and it has SPF. It’s really really good.”
