Rebel Wilson has shed a solid 77 pounds over the past couple of years and while she looks and feels better than ever, the star tells Australian talk show Sunrise that the lifestyle change also eliminated four prominent health problems she had been struggling with her whole life.
Reduced Inflammation
“I guess I didn’t know I had a lot of inflammation in my body and stuff, and I didn’t really realize because that was just my every day,” she says.
Less Swollen Feet
Wilson explains that her feet would get swollen and achey after standing for the entire day, and that struggle is now gone. “After a big, long day of work, we would often shoot, like, 16-hour days, and my feet would get really sore,” she says, according to Sunrise. “I would have to kind of lay upside down and put my feet on the couch at the end of a big day at work, and now I don’t have that kind of thing happening.”
Healthier Bloodwork
Being overweight can cause internal health concerns like high cholesterol, but Wilson’s latest blood workup showed major improvement. “I went to the doctor and got my yearly check-up last week, and he’s like, ‘Oh my God, all your labs and your blood work is like, the best it’s ever been—and you know, it’s kind of remarkable.”
Less Jet Lag
“I used to suffer a lot from jet lag, and now it’s much easier to deal with,” says the jet-setter. This will help her feel more energized and productive on her next trip oversees.
