The 100 Most Influential Leaders in Healthcare every year is chosen through the following process:
Nominations open during the second week of June every year. Applicants must answer three questions: What actions the nominee took that year to help improve their organization’s clinical, operational and financial goals, how they have contributed to a culture of innovation and how the nominee has helped shape policy at a local or national level.
A ballot comprising 300 names is then posted for voting. Editorial judgement and research weighs heavier than the voting process, with Modern Healthcare’s senior editors making final determinations on the ranking.
Here is how our readers voted.
