Priyanka Chopra Jonas is gorgeous, even claiming the title of the second most beautiful woman in the world back in 2017 before marrying Nick Jonas. However, with all that perceived perfection comes the pressure to keep it up, which Chopra Jonas has admitted can be stressful.
In a recent interview with Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine, Chopra Jonas revealed, “In the past, I always felt pressure to look a certain way. I have been raised with unrealistic beauty standards my whole life—we all have.” She added that “Growing up, I believed everything had to be perfect, skinny or sample size and airbrushed.”
As a teenager, Chopra Jonas would get her hair and makeup professionally done for auditions. These days, Chopra Jonas says she does her own hair and makeup. “It’s been a revelation. I’m now comfortable in my own skin,” said Chopra Jonas. Although it’s taken her time to adjust her outlook, Chopra Jonas has come to terms with her “natural skin and natural hair texture.”
The star will continue to spread the message of self-love as a member of the new VS Collective, which replaced Victoria’s Secret Angels after extensive controversy. The VS Collective is a group of “trailblazing partners” that want to “drive positive change.”
Chopra Jonas is true to herself, especially in the confines of her home. She revealed that her daily routine includes sleeping with the air conditioner at 60 degrees, so she can feel “cozy” and having an espresso machine in her bedroom so she can have coffee in bed.
