In 2021 Kohl’s and Sephora teamed up. That August, the brands launched the first Sephora at Kohl’s locations. Since that summer, 200 Sephora spots have popped up in Kohl’s. The brands just announced that an additional 400 locations will be added this year, keeping them on track to meet their goal of opening 850 shops total by 2023.
The 400 new stores span 36 states, eight of which are new additions. The additions are made possible by the early success seen with the first 200 stores. At all locations, you can shop for popular makeup, skin care, hair and fragrance products. You can also have beauty consultations with professionals.
Additionally, you’ll soon be able to find even more of a variety of prestigious beauty brands at the duo’s locations. Currently, the shops feature beloved brands like Rare Beauty, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl’s, Olaplex, Clinique and more. You’ll soon see Murad, Clarins, Jack Black, Living Proof, Versace and Voluspa stocked at Sephora at Kohl’s locations.
This partnership is meant to be mutually beneficial to the brands and bring Sephora beauty products to more consumers. “We’re thrilled to be bringing Sephora at Kohl’s closer to millions more of our customers nationwide,” Doug Howe, Kohl’s chief merchandising officer, said in a statement. “The quick and vast rollout of Sephora at Kohl’s is a testament to how much we believe in this partnership and making prestige beauty more accessible to people everywhere.”
The brands are committed to keeping the selection fresh. “We’ve always had the intention to keep the Sephora at Kohl’s beauty assortment as relevant and similar to our freestanding Sephora stores as possible,” Artemis Patrick, Sephora’s executive vice president and global chief merchandising officer, said in the statement. “We want every customer who comes to Sephora at Kohl’s to be able to discover new brands and find their favorites, just like they do at our other Sephora stores.”
