How Jennifer Lopez Got Flecks of Diamonds and Gold in Her Latest Manicure — See Photo

One can only dream of getting a manicure painted with flecks from the finest of jewels. However, Jennifer Lopez‘s latest nail set proves that it’s not too far from impossible to get a manicure that looks as if it was smattered with actual flecks of gold and diamonds. 

In fact, the singer’s go-to nail artist, Tom Bachik, tells Allure that Lopez’s latest manicure gets its fanciful finish from one nail polish by the name of Gold Bar from the brand Bio Seaweed Gel. Bachik took to Instagram on February 2 to share Lopez’s new nail set that was appropriately captioned, “Drippin diamonds and gold are @jlo best friend.” The opulence displayed on the singer’s nails also extended to her fingers, which were layered with rings that appear to feature real diamonds and gold.  

Manicures that mimic the appearance of precious metals aren’t really a new trend, but Lopez’s manicure is a more modest example of how to go about decorating your nails with the sheen of an expensive metal. Singer Dua Lipa also counts herself as a fan of nail art that looks like the next best thing to an expensive metal. Back in December of 2021, she showed off a pair of nails that looked as if they were literally dunked into a pot of gold. That being said, it’s fair to say that Lipa’s precious stone-inspired manicure fares more on the maximalist side of precious metal nail sets. 

So, if you’ve pondered the idea of getting a manicure made out of real diamonds and gold, you can thank Lopez and Bachik for making that dream into (almost) a reality.
