Halle Berry Has Already Changed Her Purple Curls to Silver Curls — See Photo

Halle Berry is ringing in her 56th birthday with another new hairstyle.

Just a few days after showing off violet curls on Instagram, the Oscar winner changed things up and went from purple to a cool smoky lavender-silver shade. She posted a picture of the color on Instagram on her birthday, writing, “Feeling so much gratitude and love on this birthday! WOW!” In the snapshot, Berry reclines on a couch outdoors wearing a black lace tank and a few earrings laddered up her ear, her skin glowing and her curls brushed over her eye.

The new silvery shade is probably the result of the purple dye fading, as Berry was rocking platinum-blonde hair before taking the purple plunge. If you look closely, you can see a teeny hint of lavender amidst the silver, giving it a pastel edge that looks stunning on Berry. (But then again, everything looks good on her.) The purple color was likely a temporary change, but the violet dye gave her asymmetrical pixie a gorgeous cool tone, much like using a purple shampoo helps tone blonde or gray hair.
