Aussie actress Rose Byrne bumped into her ex of six years on Tuesday, Brendan Cowell, as she enjoyed a swim at Sydney‘s iconic Bondi Beach.
The 42-year-old took a dip at Bondi Icebergs and ran into her former flame, 45, as she relaxed on a grassy knoll nearby.
The pair, who amicably split back in 2010, still appeared on good terms as they chatted with their mutual friend and Rose’s Seriously Red co-star, Krew Boylan.

Rose cut a casual figure on the day, slipping her trim figure into a chic leopard print bikini.
She teamed the look with a pair of high-waisted denim look shorts, a white shirt, a beige hat and sunglasses.
Brendan meanwhile, appeared to be enjoying a walk in Bondi and wore a dark tracksuit with a cap and a pair of headphones around his neck.

Brendan, 45, and Rose, 42, dated for six years and lived together in New York before splitting in 2010.
At the time, his spokesperson said their split was ‘amicable’ and that they remained ‘good friends’.
That same year, she appeared in I Love You Too alongside Brendan, who has written a number of novels.

Shortly after their split, Rose did an interview with Red Online and said she could see herself one day settling back into Australia.
‘I guess I do imagine myself ultimately settling in Australia because that’s where my family is and a lot of my friends. But I’m not in a relationship at the moment, so it would totally depend on that,’ she said at the time.
‘I’m still enjoying living in New York. I thrive on the relentlessness of a big city.’

Rose, who hails from Sydney’s Balmain, is known for films including Bridesmaids and Bad Neighbors.
