[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Floral Street Arizona Bloom is described as a dry, floral amber, and indeed, it is exactly that. To me, it’s not particularly exciting – there’s nothing in it that floats my fragrance boat but I should tell you that this scent is an award winner. I’ve reviewed Floral Street fragrances in the past and I quite like them but this little phial is £29 and I want to do more than just quite like for that money.
A lot of the draw of Floral Street is the way it looks because their presentation is stunning – modern, vibrant and decorative – but I have found that the somewhat cologne style fragrances don’t quite match up to the outer looks. I’m discovering that Arizona Bloom comprises Balinese coconut, Madagascan black pepper, jasmine petals, oak moss, salted musks, cashmere woods and fig leaves and yet, pretty much all I’m getting is the dryness and the amber.
Fragrance is as personal as art so this isn’t a negative review, it’s just that I can’t find much to rave about it for myself although on second and third spritzes I did find the coconut which has a green element rather than sweet. I think what I can say is that it’s rare to find such soft dryness, so it’s very different in that way and if you are eternally seeking the dry, snap this up, and also, it’s an unusual fragrance – there won’t be anything about this that reminds you of anything else so again, if uniqueness is your thing you’ll be onto a winner here.
