Fable & Mane Discovery Set

0

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I feel I’m on the Christmas home run this week and next week I can get back to things that aren’t particularly time relevant – I love a discovery set for the low commitment especially with hair care and think they make excellent presents for hair minded friends. I think I ‘get’ hair care more than I used to but my head is still turned every time towards the prettier things like lipstick and eyeshadow.

Fable & Mane Discovery Set

I haven’t tried this set – I’m a bit awash with hair care – but I will get to it eventually. However, reviews for this brand are on the ‘rave’ side and it smells absolutely delicious. I would be happy for my hair to smell of it day in and day out – it’s a kind of smooth coconut scent with a creamy backdrop of herbs. In terms of USP, from the name you might guess it’s a south Asian inspired brand using Ayurvedic herbs and rituals, founded in London by siblings Akash and Niki who both have experience in the beauty industry (as does their dad who worked for Jean Patou and that probably explains why the fragrance is so lovely because they used a proper ‘nose’ to create it)  and has gathered a strong customer base despite only being founded in early 2020. When that happens so quickly, it speaks for itself. The set is £20 HERE.

Kitsch Hair Towel

While I’m on the topic of hair, the topic of quick dry hair towels and wraps cropped up with a friend and she’d never heard of them let alone owns one. I was so surprised because I’m not sure how I managed without one. Well, we had to manage with a soggy, heavy towel balanced precariously on our heads knowing it would unravel with one false move. I’ve amassed several that are regularly pinched by Lucy despite me giving her one of her own last Christmas. I’ve got a couple of Aquis and a very beloved Aquis towel but have to say that Kitsch is giving that brand a run for their money in terms of softness and absorbency so I’m happy to recommend.

Kitsch Hair Towel

This turban is made from bamboo and organic cotton if you’re being more mindful (I spotted an offer for Aquis turbans for £12.99 at TKMaxx HERE which is extremely good value), otherwise, the Kitsch towel is £20 HERE. I can only find a white one in the eco fabric.
