On my birthday, I do at least two things in no particular order. One: I eat some cake (duh!). Two: I shop at Sephora to snag an item or two that’s been on my wishlist for a while — along with choosing my Beauty Insider birthday gift, of course. And now, with the start of a new year around the corner, the beauty retailer is giving all Beauty Insiders something to look forward to by revealing all of 2022’s birthday gift offerings.
In a press release issued on December 28, Sephora announced that next year’s birthday gift lineup will include products from Tatcha, Olaplex, Amika, Nars, and Laura Mercier. That being said, Beauty Insider members of all levels — Insider, Rouge, and VIB — will have their pick of products across the categories of hair care, skin-care, and makeup.
Within the realm of hair care, Insiders can either choose from Olaplex (which will be available exclusively on Sephora.com) or a gift set from Amika. From Olaplex, Insider members can get either the No. 3 Hair Perfector or the No. 8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask, two hair treatments that help to replenish damaged and dry hair, respectively. Meanwhile, Insiders who choose the Amika gift set will be treated to the Perk Up Talc-Free Dry Shampoo, Soulfood Nourishing Mask, and the Flash Instant Shine Hair Gloss Mask.
For those looking to stock up on more skin-care, the retailer has put together a gift set of three Tatcha favorites, which include the Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser, the Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer, and the Liquid Silk Canvas. The Liquid Silk Canvas is technically a makeup primer, but it also safeguards the skin from environmental pollutants.
As for 2022’s makeup gift offerings, Sephora is bringing back the Nars gift set from this year and will be introducing a set from Laura Mercier that will only be available at Sephora retailers and on Sephora.com. The Laura Mercier set features the brand’s beloved Translucent Loose Setting Powder paired with the Caviar Eye Shadow Stick in Strapless, a shade exclusively designed for Sephora.
