Her show may be coming to a close, but Ellen DeGeneres is departing on a new venture: skin care.
According to a recent article from Daily Mail, DeGeneres announced the launch of the line—it’s called Kind Science—on her show last Tuesday. Set to hit shelves later in the month, the line has been in the works for just over three years.
“There’s something that I’m very excited about,” DeGeneres said during her last episode. “I have been working on this for three years and I’m excited to share it with you today. I finally figured out how to turn the flashlight off on my phone.” All jokes aside, the talkshow host continues: “I have a skin-care line and it’s finally coming out on October 26…So it’s called Kind Science. It is age positive skin care that actually works. It is so good. I’m so excited about this.”
While we don’t know exactly what products will be included in the launch, the main page of the brand’s website gives us a pretty solid hint. Its slogan: “Embrace your age, not your wrinkles! Kind Science is high performance, effective skin care that’s made for everybody.” The website also states that the line will be skin kind, animal kind and eco kind.
