ColourPop Wanna Bee 9-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($14.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a new, limited edition nine-pan eyeshadow palette that’s currently an Ulta exclusive, though it’ll eventually be available directly through the brand. It contained five matte eyeshadows and four shimmer eyeshadows. Two of the shimmers were sheerer and/or more prone to fallout, while the mattes were pigmented, blendable, and not too powdery.

Pollen 4 U is faded peach with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. I’d almost say it was a mix of peach and beige because there was a real muted quality to the shade. It had opaque pigmentation paired with a soft, somewhat powdery texture, but it was substantial enough to have good adhesion to bare skin and wasn’t prone to sheering out too readily. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Oh Beehive
Oh Beehive is a deep copper with moderate, warm orange undertones and flecks of gold sparkle over a metallic sheen. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation, but it was drier and moderately prone to fallout. I’d recommend using this with a dampened brush and/or adhesive spray to minimize fallout. The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.
