Rose d’Amalfi
Tom Ford Beauty Rose d’Amalfi Satin Matte Lip Color ($58.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark pink-coral with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The texture was lightweight, smooth, and glided comfortably but didn’t feel too emollient, so it stayed in place better. It had mostly opaque pigmentation that wore well for four hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$58.00/0.11 oz. – $527.27 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have “full-coverage” in a “single stroke” that is “lightweight” and “long-wearing” that helps to smooth and keep lips hydrated over time. What sets this formula apart from other Tom Ford Lip Colors is the texture: it’s velvety, smooth, and waxier without being heavy–it glided on easily but did not feel wet or traditionally creamy. It was very lightweight, comfortable to wear, and some shades definitely helped minimize my lip lines. They wore between four and six hours on me, and they were lightly to moderately moisturizing. They had a faint vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Rose de Chine
Tom Ford Beauty Rose de Chine Satin Matte Lip Color ($58.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a darker, somewhat muted, pink-coral with subtle, warm undertones and a satin sheen. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly across my lips and never tugged as the texture was lightweight, smooth, and thin without being clingy. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and felt lightly moisturizing while worn.

Ingredients
Rose de Russie
Tom Ford Beauty Rose de Russie Satin Matte Lip Color ($58.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a rich, raspberry pink with cool, bluish undertones and a satin finish. It had medium color coverage, which was somewhat buildable, that applied evenly along the edges but there was a smidgen of product that settled into my deeper lip lines–it wasn’t too noticeable from a normal viewing distance, though.
The texture was lightweight, smooth, and had enough slip to glide on comfortably but didn’t slide around while worn. It lasted well for five hours, left a stain behind, and felt lightly hydrating over time.
