Luke Hines has revealed his dramatic 12-week body transformation, after stacking on the kilos during Covid lockdowns.
The TV host and cookbook author stripped down to a pair of skimpy green Speedos as he showcased his newly flat stomach and toned thighs and pecs.
He highlighted his weight loss in a series of before and after photos shared on Instagram.

The before photos showed him looking heavier with a spare tyre around his stomach.
But he has now lost more than 10 kilos, after his weight ballooned from from 84kg pre-Covid in January 2020 to 100kg in June this year.
Luke admitted the pandemic weight gain affected his ‘self-worth’ and ‘confidence’.
‘Disgusting. I lacked such self confidence and self-worth. I looked in the mirror and actually called myself disgusting,’ he caption his transformation post.

‘I was the biggest, unfittest and saddest I had ever been. Looking back I know that I was being way too hard on myself,’ he added.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday, Luke shared his weight loss tips, including how he tailored his workout regime.
‘I always knew “how” to train, but I’d got lazy and wasn’t training with the proper intensity or technique. Just a few minor tweaks and less phone time between sets made a huge difference to my results,’ he said.
Luke revealed changing his diet was the most important part of his journey.
‘As much as training was important, it wasn’t the biggest contributor to my transformation. It was 80 per cent what I was eating. I’d got into the habit of eating too much, and of the wrong stuff, so fine-tuning what I ate and how much of it changed my body dramatically,’ he said.
Getting proper sleep was also essential.
‘Getting proper sleep was a game changer,’ he said. ‘I was never recovering properly, so now that I get seven to eight hours I am seeing way better results.’
Luke added that improving his ‘headspace’ was central to his weight loss.
‘It all starts with your headspace. When I was my heaviest I was really down and out and it felt like getting back in shape would be impossible. Once I started thinking better and backing myself, real change started to happen,’ he said.

Finally, Luke encouraged people on a similar fitness journey to be proud of themselves and the changes generated by hard work.
‘As much as I’m happy for the better body and reduced body fat, I’m most proud about how much better my headspace is. Mentally, I am way better than I’ve ever been,’ he said.
Luke wants people to know it’s never too late to make positive changes.

It’s a stark contrast to what Luke told News.com.au at the start of his fitness journey.
‘I’ve experienced increase in body fat, decrease in lean muscle mass, and as a result, lacked self confidence and motivation,’ he said before his transformation.
‘For me, like many, when you fall out of shape, you can end up falling out of love with your body, and it can make getting back on track harder than it has to be.’
