Chanel Marine (30) Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($34.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a deep navy blue with strong, cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which was easily built up to full coverage using shorter, more overlapping strokes. The texture was just barely creamy, so it was more comfortable to use it in shorter strokes than a longer, more fluid stroke. It lasted for eight and a half hours before thinning noticeably.

The Stylo Yeux formula is supposed to be a “waterproof, smudge-proof” eyeliner with a “gentle, soft” texture. I gave up on this formula bit ago, as the majority of shades I had tried had a really firm, stiff, and painful-to-use texture, but new releases have much improved!
They are much, much creamier without being too wet, so they didn’t transfer or migrate easily. The formula was easy (and not painful!) to use even on my waterline. The eyeliners lasted nine hours or more on me.

Chanel Or Antique (48) Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($34.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a medium-dark gold with strong, warm undertones and flecks of gold sparkle over a metallic finish. The texture was a little too emollient, which made the pencil prone to bunching up and leaving behind larger bits of product. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage that wore well for eight hours on me.

Noir Intense (88)
Chanel Noir Intense (88) Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($34.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a deep black with subtle, warmer undertones and a matte finish. This was a shade that did seem to apply better to my actual lash line than when I initially swatched it, as the color was more opaque and smoother/more even in its application. The texture was lightly creamy, slightly denser and more velvety compared to most of the other shades in the formula, and yielded semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation. It stayed on nicely for nine hours before fading a bit.
