Summer is the perfect time to cool down with refreshing, homemade beverages.  Enjoy a Mango Chili Lemonade that combines sweet mango with a spicy kick, or a Globe Grape and Cranberry Mojito for a fruity twist. The Pomegranate Mojito is a tangy delight with fresh pomegranate seeds and lime. For a crisp and zesty option, try the Cucumber Fizz Lemonade, blending cucumber and mint. Finally, Kala Noor offers a unique blend of spices and flavored soda for a tantalizing refreshment.  Mango Chili Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1-2 teaspoons of sugar (adjust to taste, depending on the sweetness of the mango)
  • 1 teaspoon sun dried red chilli flakes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 40 ml soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place the diced mango in a blender along with sugar, red chili flakes and mint.
  2. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water to help it blend smoothly.
  3. Once the mango mixture is smooth, pour it through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher or directly into the shaker, remove any fibres or chunks.
  4. Add the lemon juice to the strained mango puree and add some ice.
  5. Add soda and shake well.
  6. Strain directly into glass, garnish and serve.

Globe Grape and Cranberry Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 globe grapes, halved
  • 60 ml cup cranberry juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 30 ml club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Grapes for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a sturdy glass, muddle the halved grapes until the grapes release their juices and the mint becomes fragrant.
  2. Add lime juice.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour in the cranberry juice.
  5. Top off the glass with club soda.
  6. Gently stir the ingredients together to combine.
  7. Taste the mojito and adjust the sweetness or tartness.
  8. Garnish with some halved grapes.

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Grape and Cranberry Mojito!

Pomegranate Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • pomegranate seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a glass, muddle together the fresh pomegranate seeds and lime wedges until it dissolved and the mint leaves are slightly bruised, releasing their flavor.
  2. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Top off the glass with club soda.
  4. Gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Garnish with few additional pomegranate seeds, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Pomegranate Mojito!

Cucumber Fizz Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar syrup
  • 30 ml soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 tea spoon Mint paste
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a glass, muddle the cucumber slices along with mint leaves to release their flavour.
  2. Add fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup to the glass.
  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour soda water over the ice.
  5. Gently stir the ingredients together or shake in shaker.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Cucumber Fizz Lemonade!

Kala Noor

Ingredients:

For Kala Noor masala

  1. 1 Table Spoon black salt
  2. Table salt 1gm
  3. Chaat masala 2gm
  4. Roasted cumin powder 5gm
  5. Roasted black pepper powder 2gm.

For base

  1. Lime juice 20ml
  2. Flavoured soda 130ml

Instructions:

  1. Combine devil’s potion masala and lime juice in a brandy balloon and top it with chilled flavoured soda.
  2. Garnish with a lemon swirl
