On this auspicious day, devotees observe Satyanarayan Vrat and perform various puja rituals. This month, Vaishakha Purnima will occur on Purnima Tithi, the month of Vaishakha. Vaishakh Purnima Significance

Vaishakha Purnima is one of the most important days in Hindu religion. This day holds great religious and spiritual significance among Hindus. On this auspicious day, people offer prayers to Lord Vishnu and perform Satyanarayan Vrat. This day is celebrated by Lord Vishnu devotees with great devotion and fervour. They visit various religious places and Ganga Ghats to take a holy dip in the river Ganga. This day is also celebrated as Buddha Purnima as Lord Buddha was born on this auspicious day.

On this auspicious day, devotees also worship Chandra Dev, show their gratitude to him and seek blessings. It is believed that Lord Chandra showers his blessings on earth through his rays. This day is considered auspicious to visit Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna temples and offer prayers.

Vaishakha Purnima Puja Rituals

1. Wake up early in the morning and take a holy dip in the river Ganga.

2. Take an idol of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna and Laddoo Gopal Ji or Radha Krishna Ji.

3. Give them a holy bath with Gangajal, Panchamrit and then normal water.

4. Place them on a wooden board and offer them Tulsi Patra.

5. Make sure you do not pluck the Tulsi leaves on Purnima Tithi and pluck them a day before Purnima.

6. Prepare Panchamrit and offer it as Bhog Prasad.

7. Fast the whole day from dawn to dusk and in the evening again offer prayers to God and recite Satyanarayan Vrat Katha then recite Aarti.

8. Again prepare sattvik bhog and offer it to the Lord and Goddess first, then break your fast.

9. Before breaking your fast, you must offer water or arghya to the Moon God and wish for good health and well-being.

10. After all the puja rituals are completed, the fast can be broken.
