Counting Stars

Terra Moons Counting Stars Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($13.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a very light, bluish base with green-to-purple shift paired with a metallic sheen. It had nearly opaque color coverage with a soft, smooth consistency that was more loosely-pressed but not to the point where it resulted in fallout. It applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without difficulty. This shade lasted nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview

$13.00/0.05 oz. – $260.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to be a cross between “vivid metallic and iridescent chameleon,” so they have a stronger color base but a multichrome shift. The brand recommended applying over an eyeshadow primer and in a thin layer to “intensify the shift,” though I did not personally find that primer necessarily impacted the shift as they were readily apparent used on their own.

They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly emollient but not too thick or too densely-packed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product with a dry brush as well as fingertips/dampened brushes if preferred. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges.

The vivid, more colored base helped make these easier to incorporate with other eyeshadows, too, so those who find multichromes daunting may like to start with this type of multichrome. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me before creasing visibly.

Reign of Terra

Terra Moons Reign of Terra Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($13.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a rich, inky purple base that shifted from blue to copper with contrasting flecks of gold and copper shimmer throughout its metallic finish. It had a stronger shift between blue and copper but harder for me to see the gold.

The texture was smooth, lightly emollient, and blendable without being thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan. It had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.
