In a recent TikTok video (which has racked up over a million likes in less than a week), Gomez showed off some of her favorite skin-care products—including a skin spritz from Evian, a plumping serum from Dior, and a few moisturizing goodies from La Mer. But what really caught our attention was the Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Hydra-Gel Eye Patches ($75) she used under her eyes.

The masks are designed to lift, firm, and brighten the skin under your eyes—which means they address the entire trifecta of undereye concerns. They’re infused with 24-karat gold, which has been used for centuries to combat these issues thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also got activated gold, which offers additional lifting and firming properties.
In addition to its luxe metal ingredients, the patches also contain caffeine (which reduces puffiness), and glycerin and hyaluronic acid (for long-lasting hydration). Plus, they offer a cooling sensation for immediate relief as soon as you apply.
Gomez isn’t the only one borrowing a page from Cleopatra’s luxe beauty book. My lines and wrinkles seem to not be so deep after use. I love the cooling effect of them when I first put them on,” writes one fan. “This is the holy grail! I literally saw results when I took the pads off! It brightened my eye area as well. Puffiness gone! Well worth the money!” says another. One main complaint among reviewers who didn’t love the patches is that they dry out quickly in their jar, so you’ll want to take extra care with the way you store them.
While $75 may seem like a high price to pay for eye patches, every pack contains 60 patches, so you do get some pretty solid bang for your buck (and that goes double if you reuse the front and back sides of the patches). Just leave them on 10 minutes, and you’ll be gilded and good to go.
