Singapore has evolved to provide renewed offerings, making it the perfect match for an extraordinary celebration. With Instagrammable spots, exceptional venues, and world class attractions, the island city creates a captivating backdrop for ‘Beginnings. Made In Singapore’. Mishra says, “Japan envisioned Singapore as a fish, highlighting its fragility and elegance, while China likened it to a lion, representing fierceness and strength, both reflecting unique beauty. Our collection seamlessly blends these contrasts, where fragility meets strength, through silhouettes echoing the delicate yet fierce essence of these symbols. The use of gold against nude hues, inspired by Singapore, embodies universal appeal with a distinct blend of Indian and Singaporean influences. This intersection of cultures mirrors the historical Silk Route, reflecting on how trade and craftsmanship traversed from Europe to the Far East, embodying the essence of connectivity and shared skills that define this collection.”

Mishra further adds, “As a brand rooted in naturalism, we find inspiration in Singapore’s landscape, often associated with towering skyscrapers and architectural wonders like Jewel Changi—a dazzling display of human ingenuity. However, amidst this urban spectacle, Singapore seamlessly integrates natural elements, forming a captivating hybrid of man-made marvels intertwined with the beauty of nature.”

Playing muse to Mishra’s creative prowess and adding the kind of charm only Bollywood can, actress Tamannaah Bhatia brings to life Rahul’s fine artistry and vision. The actress embodied the spirit of Singapore as she explored the city through her own lens. She not only graced the lens and donned each piece with elegance, but also set a moodboard for wedding celebrations in the island-city for couples seeking to create timeless memories on their big day. Set against the enchanting backdrop of Singapore’s alluring precincts, each portrait embodies the essence of evolved style and contemporary flair, mirroring the dynamic persona of Tamannaah and of the island city itself.

In Singapore, Rahul Mishra stumbled upon a world of enchantment, where every corner held a delightful surprise waiting to inspire; elaborate floral motifs, evocative of Gardens by the Bay, intertwined with vibrant bursts of colour reminiscent of Peranakan shophouses. Rahul Mishra’s designs skillfully weave a love story that celebrates the unique identity of the island city and mirrors the rich tapestry of experiences that can only be ‘Made In Singapore’.

Commenting on what pieces in the collection would set the tone for the upcoming season, Mishra opines, “The application of fishscale motifs, adorned with gold on nude or gold on gold, reflects the harmonious blend of nature and geometry—a quintessential representation of Singapore’s architectural ethos. Each structure in Singapore is intricately layered and nuanced, embodying inclusivity and celebrating nature alongside urban development, offering a perspective that harmonizes environment, people, and new beginnings within its architectural marvels. The upcoming trends would emphasize on inclusivity, viewing the environment, people, and new beginnings through a lens that celebrates nature within architectural design.”
