What is Parkinson’s?

Parkinson’s UK explained the progressive neurological condition is caused by nerve cells in the brain dying.

The nerve cells are responsible for creating the chemical dopamine that helps to control movement.

As nerve cells die, less dopamine is produced in the brain, causing issues with movement to appear.
