Olivia Culpo showcases fab figure while lending support to non-profit Best Buddies International
Olivia Culpo has made more than a splash or two by landing in the pages of the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, as well as being crowned Miss Universe.
And since moving on to become an in-demand model and entrepreneur, the Rhode Island native has lent her celebrity image to a number of worthy causes.
On Thursday, Culpo hoped to shine a light on Best Buddies International as she attended an event hosted by the non-profit at MOD Pizza in Los Angeles.

Culpo looked casual for the day in blue jeans and a cropped brown sweater combination that highlighted her toned midriff.
She completed the ensemble with a pair of brown leather heels and a matching handbag.
The actress’ shoulder-length tresses were cut in a bob with a part down the middle.
Considering the event was held at MOD Pizza, a counter-serve chain restaurant known for its build-your-own pizzas, Culpo decided to change out of her sweater and into a black Best Buddies t-shirt when it was time to get to work.

After slipping on a pair of plastic gloves, Culpo started making pizzas with a group of participants and volunteers.
Everyone helped with the construction of a number of the Italian classic – from the rolling of the dough, to application of the sauce, cheese and toppings – before putting them into the oven.
During all the fun of making the pizza pies – and, of course, eating them – the I Feel Pretty star documented much of the action on her Instagram page.
The beauty queen has been working with Best Buddies International since she entered her first pageant for Miss Rhode Island, which was more than 10 years ago.

The program ‘builds friendships between people with and without IDD, offering social mentoring while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion.’
The website also maintains that a majority of all monetary contributions are spent on the enrichment of the organization’s programs.
