Mrunal Thakur showcased designer Anu Pellakuru’s most recent collection, Swarniraha, on the runway.
Mrunal Thakur took to the runway to showcase designer Anu Pellakuru’s latest collection, Swarniraha. This collection beautifully narrates the opulence of nature, with each ensemble intricately crafted and adorned with elaborate floral motifs and leaf patterns. The actress donned a stunning pink lehenga. The ensemble featured meticulously handcrafted floral motifs, delicate leaf patterns and whimsical ‘ghumerus’ in shades of orange, lilac, yellow, ivory and pista green. The heavily embellished blouse complemented the ensemble with its plunging sweetheart neckline. To add a finishing touch, she draped a georgette dupatta with delicate sequin work on the borders.
To enhance her ensemble, Mrunal opted for a kundan set adorned with red stones, perfectly paired with matching earrings. Her subtle makeup complemented the charm of the necklace. Sporting smoky eyeshadow with a touch of sparkle, bold kohl kajal, volumizing mascara, contoured cheeks, a hint of blush, shimmering highlighter and nude lipstick, she achieved a balanced and elegant look. However, what truly elevated her appearance was her beautifully styled wavy locks, cascading freely over her shoulders.
According to a report by the Bollywood Helpline, Mrunal also shared her experience of walking the ramp in gorgeous attire. She said, “I am proud of my designer, Anu, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time walking the ramp. She dedicated 1400 hours solely to crafting this outfit. I have a deep affection for Indian attire, particularly for the intricate details of flowers and pearls, seamlessly woven into my ensemble. It’s truly amazing. This hot pink lehenga is perfect for the summer season.”
