They are still going strong after being matched on last year’s season of Married At First Sight.

The couple placed several bids at an auction for a five-bedroom home in Brisbane‘s Gordon Park recently.

Home sweet home: Married At First Sight couple Johnny Balbuziente and Kerry Knight are getting ready to take the next step in their relationship by buying a house together

Johnny, 32, and Kerry, 30, who moved in together in June last year, are now looking to buy their dream home, reports realestate.com.au.

In April last year, six months after meeting Kerry at the altar, Johnny said going on MAFS was the ‘biggest risk’ he’d ever taken – but it absolutely paid off.

Two months later, they confirmed they were living together.

‘HOME SWEET HOME. It’s been a big weekend moving into our new place! Never too busy to have a bit of fun with it though,’ Kerry wrote on Instagram at the time.

Last October, Johnny and Kerry marked their one-year anniversary of first meeting on MAFS.

‘This is the moment that we had our first real conversation, exactly a year ago today,’ Johnny wrote on social media, sharing a photo from their televised wedding.

He said the day was an ‘absolute blur’, not to mention ‘nerve-wracking and utterly exhausting’, but he was left feeling as though he had won the jackpot.

‘It was while we were having our awkward wedding photo shoot, with a random horse, that we had our first brief moment to get to know each other,’ he said.

‘I quickly started to see how generous and warm and intelligent and funny and stupidly gorgeous you were… Finally my nerves (and guts) started to settle.’
