The formula is supposed to have “100% full coverage with a demi-matte finish and weightless feel.” It’s a silicone-heavy formulation, so it had glide without feeling wet or slippery on the lips. To me, it has more of a velvety feel that’s featherweight, thin but not in a clingy, drying kind of way, and goes on without dragging.
The thinner nature of the formula combined with the more matte finish means that exfoliating prior to application is important for best results; this was more noticeable in Rainbow Spill (less forgiving) than Skyscraper Rose (which was more forgiving). They wore between five and six hours on me, left faint stains, and were non-drying to barely hydrating. They had no discernible scent or taste.
