Jordan Alexander Got Neon-Green Braids Her “Gossip Girl” Character Would Hate — See Photo
If you’ve seen the new Gossip Girl reboot on HBO Max, you probably know by now that Julien Calloway (played by Jordan Alexander) and Blair Waldorf have a lot more in common than not. Both are the “it girls” of their elite social circles and have unbelievably high taste. As for Alexander and her Gossip Girl character, well, it seems like they’re not one and the same at all.
Alexander posted a reel to her Instagram stories on January 18 (check out it right here) showing the installation process from start to finish behind her new neon-green braids that appear to have been done by a friend, which is something you’d never see Manhattan queen bee Julien Calloway outwardly do. She’d much rather have her hair attended to in an Upper East Side salon by a stylist to the stars, of course.
The video also shows Alexander and her two friends enjoying a little dance party moment “whipping their hair back and forth” à la Willow Smith. Several Instagram users pulled up in the comments section to express their approval of Alexander’s new neon-green braids. One Instagram user was even quick to realize that Alexander and her friends made “a rainbow” of sorts with their different shades of hair as they danced like nobody was watching across the room. Meanwhile, other users showed their love for the actor’s new look by leaving hearts in the comments section.
There’s a slim chance that Alexander’s neon-green braids will make it on screen because, let’s face it, Julien would much rather be caught dead than walk around the Upper East Side without her signature close-cropped cut.
