JD Glow Sapphire Metallon Shadow ($7.50 for 0.095 oz.) is a deep, navy blue with strong, cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was just a touch over emollient, so it had a tendency to look a little uneven along the edges when they were diffused. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

The formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a “built in primer.” The texture was creamier, smooth, and more emollient without being too thick or too firmly pressed into the pan, so while it was denser and not at all powdery, I had no trouble picking up product with a dry brush. Using a wet brush or fingertip to apply helped to minimize slight to light fallout that was more typical with dry brush application.
The pigmentation was semi-opaque to opaque with good adhesion to bare skin, and the powders blended out well along the edges. Some of the more sparkly shades had light fallout when blended or the sparkles dispersed a bit more readily, so precision placement was harder. They wore between eight and nine hours on me before fading or lightly creasing.
The one thing to note, though, is that they had a heavy, sweet, fruity scent that I could detect periodically through the day. The empty palette I placed all of the eyeshadows in practically bursts with scent when I open.
