It’s rare that we get a manicure update from Dua Lipa. The last time we checked, the “Levitating” singer gave us a new nail check via Instagram all the way back on November 4. Lucky for us, though, the singer hasn’t left us all hanging for too long. Lipa arrived with a new (and rather shiny) manicure update on December 14.
In a casual eight-part photo dump featuring an array of images from Lipa’s life happenings, the singer kicked off her visual diary with a photo of a golden manicure. The gilded nail design appears to have been photographed in front of a sparkly purple piano, probably to accentuate the gold, shiny luster of this nail set. If you look closely, you can see that each digit is embellished with some raised flecks of gold, which means that Lipa most likely has a 3D manicure on her hands. See what we did there?
Because the singer didn’t reveal any of the details behind the design, we’re not sure if Lipa’s nails were artfully painted with some polish, gels, or are just a set of press-ons. Each nail-art method is fair game, especially seeing as celebrities have access to some of the world’s greatest nail artists.

Now, nails dripping in gold may not have earned a spot in our Christmas nail-art roundup, but they sure align with the trends for the upcoming holiday season.
