Coconut water is beneficial for your health and can provide relief during summer.

Drinking coconut water has been considered beneficial for the body. Most people prefer drinking coconut water directly from the coconut shell, while some people prefer drinking it using a straw. In various parts of the country, the temperatures rose to around 45 degrees Celsius. Drinking coconut water in this scorching heat can give you relief and is also beneficial for your health. Do you know that you should not drink coconut water directly from its shell? Let us look at the reason. According to Kamini Sinha, founder and chief nutritionist of Diet Mantra, coconut water should always be consumed in a glass. She said that coconut water usually stays inside the shell for a long time; as a result some fungus gets accumulated in the shell of the coconut. These fungus if it enters the human body can cause various issues like respiratory issues and allergic reactions, which can be fatal for a human being.

In an interview, she mentioned that coconut water is very important for our body as it helps to maintain the hydration level of the body, especially during the summer. Drinking directly can be dangerous for a person. Though coconut water is beneficial for our body, drinking too much of it can cause hyperkalemia. This happens because coconut water contains potassium.

Kamini Sinha further mentioned that in order to stay hydrated and physically fit in this summer everyone should consume plenty of fruits, in which the water content is high. Fruits like watermelon, cucumber, kiwi, and oranges help to maintain the all required nutrients in the body and avoid serious illnesses. She also said that people should avoid going out during the morning time.

She also stated that doing daily exercise and wearing light clothes are essential to keep your body physically fit during the summer. If someone faces any issues like nausea and sunburns, then that person should immediately consult a doctor.
