While 6.8 million people have received the one-shot does of the Johnson & Johnson jab, six women – aged between 18 to 48 – have had a rare blood clot, with one fatality. Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine chat show this morning, Dr Hilary said that regulators are “not sure” if the blood clots are related to the vaccine or not. At present, the roll-out of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine has been halted in America, South Africa and Europe.
