Channel Nine newsreader Peter Overton and wife Jessica Rowe have given a rare insight into their private life at home in Sydney.
The couple, who have been married for the last 18 years, shared a comical skit on Tuesday, titled ‘home news’, to Instagram.
The thrilling footage showcased the pair doing mundane chores around the house.

Next, Jessica took out the rubbish as Peter unloaded the dishwasher.
The pair then took their pets for walk before taking their kids to school sport.
‘How we roll on the weekends!’ Jess captioned the clip.
In a second clip, Peter was washing the car while Jessica enjoyed multiple cups of coffee in bed.

Peter then showed himself doing the gardening before driving the couple’s kids around in the family SUV.

‘I really must thank my long suffering husband – who rolls his eyes and says, ‘Pussycat, this is NOT funny!’ but he does it anyway for me!!!
The couple celebrated 18 years of marriage in January this year.

‘And today we ‘celebrated’ by scrubbing the fridge for our move! (Actually Petee did the scrubbing while I carried on like a pork chop!)’
The couple share two daughters, Allegra 14, and Giselle, 12, and first met when Jess was doing work experience at Channel Nine when she was 19.

Jess said Peter was one of the few people who spoke to her during her work experience stint, and they saw each other again years later at the Logies.
‘As we were talking I was thinking, ”Why can’t I meet a nice man like this? Why am I not attracting really good, decent people like this beautiful man?”’ she told Mamamia in May 2018.

Jessica said she was later lamenting about her single status to her friend and colleague at the time, rugby league reporter Tony Peters.
She mentioned that she thought Peter seemed ‘really nice’, and Tony revealed that he knew him and offered to give him a call on her behalf.
Peter eventually agreed to take Jessica out, but only if she called him, which led to them having a ‘lovely night’.
‘I thought, ”Damn it. I will ring.” Because I’d asked blokes out before – sometimes you have to. So I rang Petey and, I’ll never forget, he said to me, ”I like your style,”’ she recounted.
