Cardi B rocked her signature black hair shade for this week’s date night with Offset, but this go-round, celebrity hairstylist Jared Henderson (a.k.a. JStayReady) installed a hip-length hairpiece for some major drama. The rapper showed off the full look in an Instagram post on March 16.

The couple was dressed stylishly cozy in Supreme x Burberry coats for their outing, and as an extra-cute bonus, they wore matching knit hats: Cardi in cream, and Offset in black. Luckily, the trendy hair accessory doesn’t take away from Grammy-winner’s lengthy hair. Cardi’s hairstylist also posted about the look with the caption “Cute Face, New Lace ????” and revealed the Cher-esque wig was made by Mo Length. We have to wonder what major hair moment Cardi B will give us next.
