Bipasha Basu’s Kicks Off The Festive Season In a Vibrant Sharara Set

Bipasha Basu adds festive fervour in a classic, traditional sharara set designed by fashion designer Bhumika Grover

Bipasha Basu is one of Bollywood’s favourite stars when it comes to making a statement. Be it her opulent contemporary silhouettes or traditional alluring ensembles, the diva knows how to ace every look with panache.

Recently, at Aarti Singh’s wedding ceremony, Bipasha Basu attended the function with her husband, actor Karan Singh Grover looking ethereal in a vibrant sharara set. The colourful look complemented Bipasha adding a touch of desi glam to her style.

The ensemble comprised a vibrant play of fuchsia elevating the beauty of the traditional sharara set. As a festival favourite, the sharara featured a majestic display of gota work that added a hint of sparkle to Bipasha’s impeccable style. Bipasha paired the sharara set with a Banarasi dupatta with scallop detailing. The dash of red in the dupatta added a hint of contrast to the overall palette.

Addressing her as the original diva, fashion designer Bhumika Grover took to Instagram to share a couple of images of Bipasha in the stunning ensemble. She said, “The original diva Bipasha Basu all beauty and grace in an ethereal fuchsia sharara set with its vibrant play of colour in gota work and a scallop banarasi dupatta with a dash of red.”

Styled by Pranay Jaitly and Shounak Amonkar of Who Wore What When, Deepika’s radiant makeup was done by Kajol Mullani. Bipasha accessorised with traditional jewellery consisting of earrings and a maang tika from Razwada Jewels and an embellished bespoke potli bag from Doux Amour.

Bipasha Basu who completed eight years of marriage with Karan in April 2024, saw the actor take to Instagram to celebrate the joyous moment through a series of pictures. She said, “My Everything. 8 years from the day we officially became husband and wife. Time has flown by so fast. Thank you for loving me more each day.” Complementing his beautiful wife, Karan looked dapper in a white sherwani set designed by couture label Jigar & Nikita. The classic meets contemporary ensemble featured intricate threadwork enhanced by beads and French knots. He paired the sherwani with a matching kurta and pants. The couple is currently celebrating their anniversary in Mauritius with their daughter, Devi.
