Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley gives us an exclusive look at her vanity staples.

Beauty Boss

“I launched the Rose Inc. content platform back in 2018 after nearly a year of working on it behind the scenes. For me, it was all about building a community around beauty, cementing my authority within the industry and trying to convey my passion to my audience. I had always known I wanted to create a beauty brand with both skin care and makeup, and it’s exciting to finally see it out in the world. We think of Rose Inc. as being ‘transparent’ versus just being ‘clean.’ Our website has all of the nitty-gritty details of every single ingredient we’re using and full packaging breakdowns of our eco-friendly materials and how to recycle them. We also have clinical trials on all of our products, which has been incredibly challenging, but really rewarding.”

Sniff Test

Byredo Gypsy Water ($190) is my signature scent because it’s just so easy to wear. It’s not overtly feminine or floral, or overpowering, so perhaps I’m someone who steers away from those things. But, while I’ve been pregnant [Whiteley is due with her second child in February], I actually haven’t been wearing that much fragrance. Usually I wear it every single day; it’s kind of like part of getting dressed. But during my first trimester, smells were kind of overwhelming for me. I also love what Jason [her husband, Jason Statham] wears—I think it’s Terra’D by Hèrmes ($126).”

Instant Hits

“Our Rose Inc. Blush Divine Radiant Lip and Cheek Color ($30) and Softlight LuminousHydrating Concealer ($30) are our top-sellers so far, which is what I had anticipated. Heliotrope is my favorite day-to-day shade of blush because it’s the mildest of the colors with more bronze to it. I flip between that and Azalea, Ophelia and Foxglove. The concealer is a really flexible formula, and something I’ve discovered is that people with very different skin tones are wearing the same color. It’s interesting because we decided to create the shades based on undertones, so it not only helps people identify their shade, but also makes the shades themselves much more flexible. I switch between LX40 and LX60, and when I’m really tan, I might use LX70. We plan to add new shades of both products next year, too.”

Hand Hero

I had always known I wanted to create a beauty brand, and it’s exciting to finally see it out in the world.

“I love Chanel’s Le Crème Main ($50) for a couple of reasons: First of all, that egg shape! I think it’s one of the most iconic products of the last few years. I know we’ve all seen it across social media, but I don’t think it’s really been lauded the way it should be. It’s such a smart design, not only because it’s so Instagrammable, but also the way it fits so ergonomically in your hand. Second, I love the formula. I don’t generally love hand lotions—I don’t like having sticky or clammy hands; it actually makes me feel dirty—but this one is very light and fast-absorbing. I keep one at my bedside table and one in my handbag.

Body Rock

“You’ve got to try Costa Brazil Jungle Firming Oil ($98)! It’s become a cult product and I love to smooth it all over my skin—I was actually rubbing it on my tummy this morning at 5 a.m. I don’t think any body oil is going to prevent stretch marks by any means, but I certainly think it’s important to keep your skin really hydrated while you’re pregnant. And I love that moment of connectivity with your tummy, just rubbing some oil around and feeling all the movement inside. It’s very relaxing. I love the scent of this one too because it’s very easy and natural. Some people, like my CEO, wear it as their fragrance.”

Dew Point

“Although I’m a bit of a sucker for anything that says ‘Rose’ or ‘Rosy’ on it [laughs], I love Chanel’s Le Blanc Rosy Drops ($50) because it’s a great multipurpose product. You can basically do whatever you want with them. I like to smooth them over my skin before using foundation or concealer, and focus them on the high points of my face for that lovely lit-from-within glow. Sometimes I use them in the middle of the day—a tiny pump—to freshen up my makeup and get everything rehydrated again. You can put them into your foundation or moisturizer as well.”

Deo Decode

“I love the Nécessaire Deodorant ($20) because it really works. It’s like a cream that comes out when you turn it and it doesn’t mark on your clothes, which is something I battle with a lot, especially being pregnant because everything is so tight and a struggle to get on anyway. I switched to ‘natural deodorant’ as I learned more about ingredients, but it took time to find one that actually worked. I also love the Malin+Goetz ($22) one Jason wears, and I often pinch that out of his bathroom. I think the trick with these deodorants is sticking with them for a couple of weeks and then your body adjusts and they work.”
